All of the Personal Information described above will be stored on Didac's user database (unless you notify us that you no longer wish us to retain such information, in which case it will be deleted). Didac will only use your Personal Information in order to contact you (for example by email, mail or telephone) for those purposes to which you have previously consented on the site or where we otherwise have a right to do so. For example, if you register on the site, Didac will email to you IDA's newsletter and, if you wish, contact you about relevant events and initiatives offered by IDA or by reputable third parties.

It is important that the personal data that we hold about you is correct and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us. Please note that if your personal data is not kept up-to-date, we may not be able to provide you with latest updates about the event and the sector.

We do not sell or share your personal data with any third party for commercial or non-commercial purpose and all efforts are made to protect the same as much as possible.
The data collected is only used for activities involving the association.
However, we may share your information only when necessary to address critical and exceptional circumstances, including:
Service Providers who assist us in operating our website, payment systems, customer management systems, visitor registration systems, event management systems and administration services and who will process your data in accordance with the terms of our data processing agreements with them.
Law enforcement agencies, public authorities or other organisations if legally required to do so.
Attendance at a physical event
To gain access to the event, you will be issued with a badge. This will detail your name, job title, company name and a QR code. Badge scanning technology may be used at events for the purposes of access control and security into the event itself and for location information at areas with the event.
Exhibitors may also ask to scan your badge. By agreeing to allow them to scan your badge your contact details will be shared with the relevant exhibitor and used in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the exhibitor’s privacy policy.
Attendance at a digital event or digital component of a physical event
IDA may use your personal information provided during the registration process to host and manage the digital event or digital component of a physical event. The data will also be used for analysing interactions, monitoring traffic and facilitating networking.
When you enter a virtual space that is sponsored, such as a sponsored session, exhibition booth or download documents provided by sponsors and exhibitors your personal information may be shared with the sponsor and exhibitor to allow them to engage with you.
The event app facilitates networking among attendees. By accepting a connection request or meeting from another attendee you are consenting for your details to be shared with that attendee.
In certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your Personal Information where such disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes; to enforce our terms and conditions or other contractual agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Didac, IDA, its directors, employees, representatives or others. This may include the exchange of information with trusted organisations and relevant authorities for the purposes of fraud detection, prevention, and security compliance
Personal data of children under 18 years of age
- We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of children. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or process personal data from individuals under the age of 18. Our website and services are not intended for, or directed towards, persons under 18 years of age.
